Joyce Ward

Joyce E. Ward, 85, of Union Center, passed away to join her husband and dance partner of 50 years, Claude, on Thursday, September 28, 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Adrian (Daniel) Endicott, and two grandchildren, Cory and Casey Adrian. Also survived by a very special niece, Priscilla Burgin (John) Chenango Bridge, and two great nephews Steven Nestoryak and Sean Henry. Joyce was a homemaker and worked various jobs throughout her life before retiring from Sanzo Specialties in Union to become a full-time grandma. A special thank you to her dear friend, Jane Putrino, who was always there to lend an ear and her neighbors who were always there to lend a helping hand.
Funeral Services will be private. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Monday from 4-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, put the tea kettle on the stove, a batch of cookies in the oven, and remember her with family and friends. It was the simple things in life that made her happy.
