Kaitlyn Robinson, 32, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning from injuries sustained from an accident. She fought very hard to recover but the injuries proved too severe. Kaitlyn was a graduate of Tioga Central High School class of 2009. Prior to her passing she was employed at Lopke’s where she had many coworkers who she greatly enjoyed working with. Kaitlyn was a very positive person and always had a smile on her face; she brought joy to everyone who knew her. Her love for the outdoors included camping, cooking out and hanging out with her brother Matt. She was usually found wearing jeans, t-shirt, work boots and a flannel shirt. Her loving dog Chupa was by her side for 15 years, along with her current dog Mako. Kaitlyn was an absolute joy to be around and will be missed beyond belief. Her quick wit, clever comebacks and smile will be missed by all. Kaitlyn is survived by her partner of 14 years, Thomas Houghton and his son Tanner. She was predeceased by his son Tyler. Although Kaitlyn never had children of her own, she was a loving mother figure to Tom’s sons. She is survived by her father Daniel Robinson, mother Christine Haven, stepfather Todd and her sisters Makayla and Grace. She is also survived by her brothers Matthew Robinson, nephew Trent and Trent’s mother Erica Carne; as well as her brother Adam, nephew Kaden and Kaden’s mother Kayla Johnson. She will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as her surviving grandmother Jackie Hutchison. One of Kaitlyn’s closest friends was her cousin Cheyenne Robinson.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of family at Allen Memorial Home. Donations and gifts in remembrance of Kaitlyn can be made to Stray Haven in Waverly, NY.
