Kathleen "Katie" Stever

Kathleen Picabo Stever, 26, of Endwell passed away unexpectedly from a stroke on November 5, 2024. She is survived by her mother, Amy, and brother, Hunter. She is also survived by her grandmother, Pauline Stever, grandmother Janice Decker and three half siblings. She is predeceased by her twin brother Richard III, father Richard Jr., grandfather Richard Stever, and grandfather Norman Decker.
Katie was a 2016 Maine-Endwell graduate. Katie had a personality that was larger than life. She was a beacon of unwavering friendship and kindness and will undeniably leave a mark on the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. She had a deep appreciation for the simple things, like a trip to target or a pot of mums in the fall. She faced a lot of loss at a young age but somehow she was still bright and witty. Her sense of humor and vitality showed others that her beauty was more than skin deep. She made her family and friends so proud this year, overcoming her past and moving forward with a positive, bright, and sober new beginning.
Katie will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
