Lannette “Nana” (Seaver) Pancoast, 56, of Binghamton was taken from this world unexpectedly due to a brief illness on Monday, May 11, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Marjorie Seaver. She was a devoted mother to her children, a daughter Jamie (John) Helstein, Windsor; two sons Steve “Squeaker” (Heather) Pancoast, Binghamton and Lee (Katie) Pancoast, Vestal; a loving “Nana” to her grandchildren Olivia; Autumn; Johnny; Landon and Rosalyn. She was also survived by two sisters Marion (Kimber) Anderson, Endicott and Rita Heeter, Jacksonville, FL; a brother Robert (Donna) Seaver, Endicott and also several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends, Kristin and Rob, Kristina, and countless others. Lannette devoted 25 years of her life to the day habilitation program at ACHIEVE touching the lives of many, where she will be deeply missed by the family she developed there over the years. Lannette’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was incredibly proud of her children, and would constantly brag about their accomplishments. When she became a Nana, life couldn’t get any better. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and was their #1 fan. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, and taking in the sun any chance she got. She also enjoyed her new found love of sailing with her special friend, Joe. Most importantly, Mom will be forever remembered for that smile of hers. Her smile had a way of reminding you that life is not that bad; that it will get better, and that life is too precious to be so serious. We all love and will miss you more than words can express. “No regrets”.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday 1 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend David Seaver, cousin of Lannette officiating. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 10 am until service time at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to ACHIEVE, 125 Cutler Pond Road, Binghamton, NY 13905.
