Leonard Jackowski

Leonard Jackowski, 80 of Endicott passed away peacefully at home August 8th, 2024. Leonard’s life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and his community. He was known for his selflessness, always putting others before himself and offering a helping hand whenever needed. His kind heart and generous spirit touched the lives of many. A passionate golfer, Leonard spent countless hours on the greens, enjoying the game he loved so much. His dedication to the sport was matched only by his love for his family and friends. He will be remembered fondly by many and was dearly loved by all.
He was predeceased by his mother Ida R. Jackowski-Gray, Father Charles C. Jackowski, brother David C. Jackowski and brother-in-law Larry Verhoeven. He is survived by his loving sons Todd Jackowski (Jennifer), Scott Jackowski, Kevin Jackowski, and his long-term partner Linda Gill. Grandchildren, Autumn, Gavin, Jacob, and Jocelyn; great-grandchild Morgan; brothers Joseph (Sue) and Charles (Sharon) Jackowski; sisters Bertha (Steven) Rinker, Carol Verhoeven, and Delores (Keith) Zulko; many nieces, nephews, and extended family through Linda.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell on August 13th viewing at 10:00 am, Mass at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Guthrie Hospice of Vestal or a charity of your choice as Leonard was known for his charitable giving.
