Lillian Lena Roma (D’Amigo) of Endicott, 90, crossed over into heaven to meet the Lord on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas; parents, Rocco and Rosaria D’Amigo; brother and sisters, Nunzio D’Amigo, Mary Steno, Jeanette Volpe, Michelina Kosick, Minnie D’Amigo and Sue Frederick. She is survived by her loving family, a son and daughter-in-law, Terence and Patricia Roma, Endicott, NY, two daughters and son-in-law, John and Kathy Mollo, Lake Orion, MI, Lisa Roma and wife Lugene Bouton, Endicott, NY; 2 grandchildren, Eric Roma, Brooklyn, NY and Emily Roma, Endicott, sister Julia D’Amigo, Binghamton, and brother Michael D’Amigo, Johnson City, special family members Barbara and Frank Romanelli; Celia and Tony DeVincentis; Marge and Frank Edwards; Courtney Cotter, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lillian Lena was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Her love for family and friends was endless. She welcomed everyone to “Nick and Lil’s” for an Italian meal that would warm the heart. Her ravioli and meatballs were outstanding and the grand finale desserts were delicious, especially the pizzelles, Italian “S” cookies and cheesecake. “Diamond Lil” enjoyed walking, bingo, traveling to Atlantic City, Las Vegas and many mid-west cities in Ohio and Michigan. She will be dearly missed by many….
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 4-7 pm. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Danielle House, 160 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905.
