Lisa Marie Grassi, 64, of Endicott, NY passed away peacefully on March 21st, 2025 at UHS Wilson Hospital, surrounded by her family at her bedside. Lisa was born on March 17th, 1961 in Johnson City, NY. Lisa was raised on the North side of Endicott by her parents Tom and Gina along with her 8 siblings (5 brothers and 3 sisters).
Lisa worked for IBM for 25 years until she went back to school and got her degree in medical coding. She loved her work as a coder and was a valued part of her organization.
Lisa loved baking and was at the center of many family events providing sweets and treats for all of her friends and loved ones.
She was a doting and loving grandmother to her three grandchildren and she loved to travel to North Carolina to visit them regularly. She was a devoted daughter to her mother, cherished sister to her siblings, warm aunt to her many nieces and nephews (especially her dear niece Monica), and loving mother to her son, and his wife.
Lisa was kind, thoughtful, accepting, forgiving and so very loving. We will miss her so very deeply and rejoice that she is in paradise with the Lord.
She is survived by her son Nathan and his wife Anja, her three grandchildren PJ, Wicker and Arden Lu, her mother Gina, her brothers Tom (Sue), Ed (Lisa), Vince (Carol), Rob (Gina) and Matt, her sisters Michele House (Earle Naumann), Paula Heenehan (Jaime) and Laura Grassi.
She was predeceased by her father Thomas.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 am, Friday, March 28, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 300 Odell Avenue Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church, Friday, March 28, from 9 am, until Mass time at 11 am.
