Luca M. Hadlick, 22, of Endicott, born on March 16, 2001, passed away peacefully at home, after a three-year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on October 23, 2023.
Luca is survived by his parents Michael and Liliana, his brother Lorenzo, girlfriend Allyson Day, his grandparents Alberto and Ofelia Paolini, Antoinetta (Ryan Edwards), Diana Paolini, cat Turbo, several aunts, uncles and cousins living in Boston and Italy, and many special friends, (brothers), especially Anthony Hamilton, Dylan Brunette, David Palmer, Billy Hopper, Sarkaft Doski, and many many more.
Luca is a graduate of Union-Endicott High School, Class of 2019, and was an employee at his dad’s restaurant, Michelangelo’s for several years.
Luca loved spending time with his brother and dad going on trips to the St. Lawrence River and Yankee Games. He would go on yearly trips with his mom. They visited places like Philadelphia,
Washington DC and New York City. He was especially close to his two aunts and grandparents. His “Nanna” would make him special dinners. He loved her chicken cutlets.
He recently spent time in Italy, this past summer with his grandfather and one of his best friends, and had the best time ever. He had a real passion for music, his musical name was Itschardi. He put out a few great albums and songs, and had a great following as well. Whoever knew Luca knew that he would dabble in anything that he had any remote interest in. His latest passion was playing and collecting electric guitars. He took lessons and also self-taught himself to play, thanks to his guitar teacher Paul Tauterouff. His favorite band was Metallica. He loved his car. He recently modified his BMW to a 540 HP, and enjoyed it as much as he was able to.
Luca also loved to look “Drip”. He loved his jewelry, clothes, and sneakers. He had a sneaker collection of over 50 pairs.
Luca will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. He had an infectious smile, a great sense of humor, a zest for life, and his parents were so proud of the man he had become. He lived his life to the fullest between friends, traveling and having fun! His mom would always tell him live day by day. He was quite the Warrior!
