Lucille Sterns

Lucille V. Sterns, 85, of Endicott, passed away peacefully at Ideal Senior Living Center Thursday, July 24, 2014. She is reunited with Jim, her husband of 58 years, grandson, Alex and son-in-law, Rob George. She is survived by two daughters, Christine Moleski, Cortland and Jackie George, Vestal; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Michelle Sterns, Washington, PA and Doug and Tina Sterns, Endicott. She was Grandma Lucy to Charles, Matthew, Chris, Joe, Mark, Amy, Daniel, Brooke, Rosemary, Tim, Natalie and Emily and seventeen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Vince Medbury, Alden, NY and Wanda Crum, Caldwell, Ohio; many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Endicott where she was a Eucharistic Minister and coordinator of the prayer network. Lucy was also a member of the B.P.O.E. #1977 Auxiliary.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Monday from 4-7 pm.
