Lucy Longo

Lucy Longo, 78, entered heaven on December 28, 2013, after a lifetime of loving unconditionally. She was predeceased by her daughter, Maryann. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Deacon Frank Longo; their children, Michael (Karen); Frank (Donna); John (Sharon); and Christa; her grandchildren, Melissa; Andrea; Amber; Danny; Vito; Matthew; Leah and Jacob; her great-grandchildren, Kaylee; Damien and Gianna; her brother in law, Neish; sister in law, Palma; various aunts; uncles and cousins. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of the needs of others. She loved cooking for family, friends and even strangers. When Frank took up his ministry, Lucy happily joined him in his work. After all she had been doing God’s work all along. During Lucy’s last few months on earth, she would have appreciated an elevator at St. Anthony’s. If you so wish you may donate to the elevator fund at St. Anthony’s in Lucy’s Memory.
Funeral Services Lucy will be held Friday at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Thursday from 4-7 pm.
