Mamie Fiacco

Mamie B. (Ligouri) Fiacco, 91, of Endicott died Saturday, May 30, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Benny Fiacco; her parents, Louis and Salma Ligouri; sisters and brothers in law, Jennie and Guerino Lozzi, Josephine and Tony Fiacco and Lillian and Albert Fiori; brothers and sisters in law, Ray and Rose Ligouri and Joseph and Carolyn Ligouri; father in law and mother in law, Sebastiano and Francesca Fiacco; brother in law, Jack Bonventre. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Benny and Theresa Fiacco, Endwell NY, Thomas Fiacco, Baldwinsville, NY and David and Catherine Fiacco, Alpharetta, GA; her grandchildren, Corey, Nicolas, Natalie, Michaela and Paige; a sister, Edith Bonventre; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends and neighbors. She was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott where she enjoyed working the field days every year as well as the funeral luncheons. She was a retired IBM employee and past President of the North Side Senior Citizens. She loved to travel, enjoyed cooking and baking her special recipes and going to the casinos with her nieces. Mamie will be remembered for her strong faith in God and her dedication to her family. The Fiacco family wishes to thank Father Jim Serowik and Sister Anisia for the loving care given to Mamie and to all the Physicians, Nurses and Aides for their care and compassion. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
