Manuel “Manny” Parente

Manuel Parente, 67, of Long Branch, NJ formally of Endicott, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022. He was predeceased by his mother, Hortensia Parente. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, MaryAnn Parente; his daughters, Marissa Parente (fiancé Adam Moldavan), Alexandria, VA and Michelle Parente of Astoria, NY.; his father, Manual Parente of Williamsburg, VA; brothers, Jose Parente, Newport News, VA and Jim Parente, Long Branch, NJ.; sister, Teresa (Greg) Bosch, Williamsburg, VA and many treasured nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and extended family members. He retired from IBM Corp after 32 years then went on to work for Mold Rite Plastics in Plattsburgh, NY and most recently enjoyed his position at Eaton Corp in Long Branch, NJ. The joy of Manny’s life was spending time with his family. He also enjoyed photography and playing dominos. Manny had a strong faith and a love of learning. He will be deeply missed.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday 10 am at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell, followed by burial will be Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Sunday from 1 - 3 pm.
