Marcia L. Pacenza, 62, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Alto J. and Yolanda A. Pacenza and her grandmother, Arinee Roe. She is survived by Lynne Hunt, kitties, Zach, Zane, Wyatt and Abby, a sister and brother in law, Sharon and Donald Neglia, Endwell, nieces and nephews, Scott and Kelly Barren, Tina Neglia and Nate Warner, Steven Hunt and Holly Trost, Karen Smith; great nieces and nephews, Joshua Begeal, Leanna Barren, William Davey, Jr. She is also survived by Clara Meagley, Mark and Wendy Hunt, by Marcia’s roommate at Bridgewater Nursing Home, Gail Timoshevich and favorite nurse, Liz. She had special appreciation for the staff on 4B, the pizza club, Anthony and the physical therapy staff at Bridgewater. Marcia was a long time member, trustee and choir member at First Christian Church, Endicott. She graduated with honors from Maine-Endwell High School, and graduated on the President’s and Dean’s list at Broome Community College in Accounting and Finance. She has been a unit supervisor at Broome Developmental Center, a tax preparer for Jackson-Hewitt, Endicott, and a market research specialist for Multi-Media, Binghamton. She was also an active member of the Endwell Chorus.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:30 am from First Christian Church, 121 Madison Avenue, Endicott, with the Reverend Mark Traver officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:30 am until service time at 11:30 am.
