Margaret Romano

Margaret M. (Costello) Romano went to join her “Honey Bun”, Salvatore Romano on Saturday, December 20, 2014. She was born on March 29, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY. Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband Salvatore; parents Joseph Costello and Catherine Sancineto; two infant grandsons Richard and Robert; two sisters Marie McCormack and Irene Clinton; a brother Donald Sancineto and a dear niece Diane DiVita. She is survived by her devoted daughter Carolyn Brown; beloved grandchildren Mark (Cheryl) Brown; David (Jocelyn) Brown; Kerri Lightner and Steven (Sarah) Brown; seven great grandchildren Joshua; Emelia; Benjamin; Liam; Shea; Jack and Oliver; also several nieces and nephews, Alan (Elizabeth) Clinton; Edward Clinton; Richard (Deborah) Clinton; Marilyn (Daniel) Canipe. Marge will be remembered for her warm smile and her ability to make people laugh with her always sharp wit. She lived a full happy life, had many friends she cherished along her journey.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 3 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Marlene Steenburg, Pastor of her church officiating. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Saturday from 1 pm until service time at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a random act of kindness in Marge’s memory.
