Margherita “Marge” Amadeo Radlinsky, 90, of Endwell, NY, passed away at Mercy House on July 4, 2024. The daughter of the late Dominick and Josephine Napolitano Amadeo, she was born and raised in Scranton, PA, with her three siblings. She married fellow Scranton resident Ray Radlinsky and moved to Endwell, where she was the heart of her family of seven, a loving neighbor and friend, and an active member of her church community. She was an employee of the Maine-Endwell school district and later, the Wegmans grocery store.
She is survived by her siblings Kitty Bickle and Tony Amadeo; her children Ray (Judy), JoAnn Hawley (Joe), MaryAnn and Amy; granddaughter Melissa Radlinsky; her sister-in-law Helen Radlinsky; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years; her son Richard; and her sister Mary Grace Barber.
Mom found great joy in tending to her garden and the hummingbirds it attracted. She was an avid collector of porcelain figurines, and an enthusiastic holiday decorator. She relished spending time with family, traveling, playing cards, and the decades of neighborhood friendships that brightened her life.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. July 11 at Church of the Holy Family in Endwell. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. that same morning at the church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Johnson City. The family would like to thank Father Clarence and the staff at Good Shepherd Fairview Home and Mercy House of the Southern Tier for the care shown to our Mom.
