Maria Roach

Maria (Garren) Roach, 64, of Vestal, died at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, April 12, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents Donald and Mary (Roma) Garren; a son Richard and a brother Thomas Garren. She is survived by her husband Richard; two daughters Leisha (Bill) Huff, Sarasota, FL and Tara Roach, Vestal; a son Ryan Roach, Vestal; sisters Donna (John) Waite, Owego and Cecilia Steenburg, Endicott; two brothers Donald and Michael Garren and a step mother Effie Garren, all of Endicott; also several nieces; nephews and cousins. She was a member of the Parish of STS John and Andrew, Vestal and was an employee of American Food and Vending, where she truly cherished the opportunity to cook for her clients and many friends. Maria’s life was dedicated to her family, friends, and her beloved dogs Coco and Bruno.
Services will be held Wednesday 6 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Wednesday from 4 pm until service time at 6 pm, followed by a time of fellowship at the Maj. Ray H. Humphrey, DSC, VFW Post 1449, Nanticoke Avenue, Endicott. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, NY 13790 or Our Lady of Lourdes Hospice Program, 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850.
