Marie Loprinzo

Marie E. Loprinzo 73 of Endicott, our precious wife, mother and grandmother has been called home to be with Jesus on June 14, 2015 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was predeceased by her Parents Mario C. Pittore and Angelina (Caputo) Pittore. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years John (Terry) Loprinzo; brother, Mario (Linda) Pittore; children, Anthony (Cheryl) Loprinzo, Lisa (Chuck) Decker, and Teresa (Brian) Swartz. Her grandchildren Sarah and Christine Swartz and Nicholas Loprinzo. As well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Marie valued her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her three grandchildren. Marie enjoyed swimming, water aerobics, ceramics and taking care of her granddaughters when they were young. At the age of 12 she took a voyage to Italy with her father returning on the Andrea Doria shortly before it sank. She began working at the early age of 14 as a hospital switch board operator. Marie will be remembered for her remarkable sense of humor that always kept us laughing.
Funeral services will be held Friday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrow Church, 801 Main Street, Vestal at 10 am. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Thursday from 4-7 pm.
