Marilyn “Jodie” Brazil

Marilyn J. Brazil (Jodie) age 67 of Vestal, NY went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven on Thursday May 18, 2017. Marilyn was predeceased by her father, Howard Kuenzli and niece Julie Dickinson. She is survived by her mother, Julia F. Kuenzli; husband, Michael H. Brazil; daughter, Joanna L. Olbrys of Conklin, NY; son and daughter-in-law Jacob M. and Amanita L. Brazil of Carlisle, PA.; granddaughter, Madeline R. Olbrys; mother-in-law, Elinora A. Brazil; sister, Marlene Dickinson; sister and brother-in-law, Alida Samuels and Paul Howard; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Conrad LaBarge; brother and sister-in-law James and Doris Kuenzli; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She began her legal career over 30 years ago with the law firm of Yetter, Zalbowitz & Gartell. She recently retired from the law firm of Levene, Gouldin & Thompson, where she was awarded the “Kitty Bell Award” for outstanding Secretary of the year. Marilyn was a member of the Occanum Community Church of Windsor, NY, as well as Binghamton First Assembly of God. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 11 am at First Assembly of God Church, 255 Washington Street, Binghamton. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at church Monday from 9 am until service time at 11 am.
