Marion DeNovellis, 92 of Endicott, NY peacefully passed away, Monday August 19, 2013 after a full life filled with love and shared with her family and friends. Marion was born in Ceccano, Italy on January 31, 1921 and resided in Endicott, NY from an early age. She is predeceased by her husband Peter in 1986; parents Mariano and Anna Carlini; brother Vince Carlini; sister in law Rose Carlini. She is survived by her loving son Mark and Candace Jones, Endicott and cherished granddaughter Ashley and Frank Saraceno, Hoboken, NJ; two sisters and brother in law, Rose and Ronald DiPietro; Theresa and Gerald Smith; brother, Carlo Carlini; sisters in laws Claudia Carlini and Norma DeNovellis; also many nieces; nephews and friends, including her special friends Lucy Zampi; Julia Greco and Josephine Brew. She was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and Judy’s Cafe. Marion could be found every year leading the soda booth at the yearly St. Anthony’s Church Feast Days. Marion was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister (Aney) and aunt who will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell at 10 am. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Thursday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to St. Anthony’s Food Pantry 906 Jenkins Street, Endicott, NY 13760.
