Marion Lefcheck, 89, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Johnson City. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael, sisters, Wilma, Elizabeth, Kathryn, Rose Ann, and Lucille, a brother, Jacob and a son in law, Jim Cheer. She is survived by her children, David and Mandy Lefcheck, Michelle and Rich Glover and Kathryn Cheer; her grandchildren, Brian and Kelly Lefcheck, Brent Lefcheck, Jim Cheer, Kevin and Heather Cheer and Caroline and Chris Pasquale, and nine great grandchildren. Marion loved reading, crossword puzzles, gardening, cooking, baking and everyday walks to Union to visit with the neighbors. She loved the New York Yankees and all sports. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to great granddaughter, Gabriella, who would visit the nursing home weekly and always bring a smile to Marion’s face. Thank you also to Drs. Gallagher, Kashou, and Shady, as well as the staff of the 2nd floor memory unit at Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, who always treated her with dignity and respect.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 7 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Wednesday from 5 pm until service time at 7 pm.
