Marion C. Walter

Marion C. Walter, 76, of Maine, NY passed away peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by family members and nursing staff on Tuesday August 7, 2012. She is pre deceased by her parents Rosario and Marion Guiffre, and an infant son, Randy Allen. Marion is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ward Walter; 4 sisters, 2 brothers, as well as several nieces and nephews. Marion enjoyed gardening, being outdoors with her dogs, swimming and signing. The family would like to say a special thank you to Kathy Cole for her many acts of kindness during Marion’s illness. A Funeral Service for Marion will be held Thursday at 11 am at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Reverend Russell Ward officiating. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Thursday from 10 am until service time at 11am.
