Marjorie H. Frederick

“Our Mom” Marjorie H. Frederick, 86 of Vestal, completed her journey Thursday, May 13, 2010. She was predeceased by her husband John; son Richard; parents Stewart and Jane Lathrop and brother James Cowl. She is survived two daughters Jessie Murphy (Mike Orlovsky), Vestal and Ruth (Michael) Husted, Apalachin; two sons Roger (Linda) Frederick, Virginia and James (Donna) Frederick, Florida; her grandchildren Tammy Pulling (Bob Long), Binghamton; Crystal Taylor (Brian Coyne), Vestal; Jonathan Husted, New York, NY; Richard; Renee; James; April and Brian Frederick, Florida and Scot; Tracie and Kim Frederick, Virginia; great grandchildren Heather; James; Anissa; Blake; Brayden; Justin; Emma; Zackery; Noah; Devin; Haley; Austin; Ryan; Alex; Autumn; Alexis and Brooke; several nieces; nephews and a special friend Grace. She was a member of the American Legion Post 89 Auxiliary, Vestal for 39 years and the RSVP for many years. Marjorie was a woman for whom family meant everything. She was proud of all of us and encouraged us to be the best that we could. She enjoyed the simple things in life, taking the family to the lake, feeding the birds in the back yard, growing beautiful roses and enormous tomato plants and baking the best kolachi, halupki and chocolate chip cookies. We are all inspired by the courage she showed in the face of adversity and know that we are better people for having known her. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
