Marouso Vasilikis

Marouso (Politis) Vasilikis, 72, of Endwell, passed away after an extended and courageous battle with cancer, Wednesday, March 5, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents Dimitrios and Margarita Politis; a sister Despina Politis and a nephew Kyriakos Koutsaris. Marouso is survived by a daughter Mina (Tom) Lazaros; granddaughters Roula Batis; and Nicoletta and Nasia Lazaros; her husband Emmanuel sisters Peggy (Harry) Athanasiou; Angela (Richard) Koutsaris; Andrea Kalogris; Marika (Kostas) Kyriakopoulou; brothers John (Despina) Politis; Emmanuel (Agatha) Politis and Kostas (Maria) Politis; nieces and nephews George Sigalas; Harry and Natassa Kyriakopoulos; Chris and Nioula Kalogris; Margarita Christoforou; Rita; James; Zoe and Ellie Politis. She was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Vestal. The family would like to thank the staff at Ideal Home Health Care, especially Shari Merrill and Pat Carveles, for all their care and concern.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 10:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, and 11 am from the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, Vestal. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 4-7 pm, with a Trisagion Service at 6:45 pm.
