Mary (Mancini) Fiester, 91 of Endwell, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, February 24, 2016. The angels opened the gates of heaven to be reunited with her husband Richard; parents Joseph and Concetta Mancini and a brother Edward Mancini. She is survived by two daughters Marisa (Anne Conneally) Fiester, Albany and Carol Lane, Endicott; three sons Richard, Jr. (Julie) Fiester, Binghamton; Michael Fiester, Endwell; Robert Fiester, Greene. Stephanie Fiester, Greene; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister Irma Forbidussi, Maine, NY; also several nieces nephews and cousins. She was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott, where she volunteered in the Food Pantry; Funeral Lunches and in the Pizza Fritte Booth during the Feast Days. The family would like to thank all the caregivers and Lourdes Hospice Staff, too many to mention for all their kind and compassionate care shown their mother during her illness.
Funeral services will be held Monday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen memorial Home Sunday from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church, 906 Jenkins Street, Endicott, NY 13760 or Lourdes Hospice Program, 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905.
