Mary F. Haskell

Mary F. Haskell, 86, of Endwell, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010. She was pre deceased by her husband, John Haskell and brother, Bliss Finlay. She is survived by two daughters and sons in law, Marianne and John Earl; Seattle, WA, and Barbara Haskell and Nour Ail; Whitney Point, NY, grandchildren, Joshua and Rebecca Earl, Jacob Earl and Leigh Ann and Michael Battista. Mary graduated in 1943 from Marjorie Webster Secretarial School in Washington, DC, and worked in the banking profession prior to her marriage in 1951. She volunteered at several local organizations including the Susquehanna Home for Children, Girl Scouts of America, Multiple Sclerosis and Meals on Wheels. She was active in quilting, bridge and various clubs, living a full life to her last days on earth.Services will be held Friday 3 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday from 1 pm until service time at 3 pm. Donations may be made in her memory to Meals on Wheels of Western Broome, 705 West Main Street, Endicott, NY 13760.
