Mary was a life-time member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. For several years she worked with the team making pepper cookies for the St. Anthony field days.
She worked at Endicott-Johnson in her early years to help contribute to her family’s finances. Later in life she was employed at the Clotilde Dress Factory to help put her children through college.
Mary was a fabulous seamstress; she could sew and upholster almost anything. She also loved to cook, and up until a few years ago held a huge Christmas Eve dinner at her house with all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She also loved to go to the casino with her sister Dora, sister-in-laws Rosemarie and Mary, and cousin Roseanne. And although she complained that she never won, she kept going and trying her luck.
Family was her greatest joy, especially being with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 11 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, (sec. 24 ), Johnson City, Monday 11 am.
