Mary Helen Taylor, 81, of Lawton, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents Francis and Anna (McInerney) Guiton; sister, Mae Poch; and brothers, Paul Guiton, Ray Guiton and Walt Guiton. She is survived by her beloved children, Carleen (Scott) Blazicek, Vestal, Ann (George) Venuto, Florida, Carlton Jr. (Cindy) Taylor, Pennsylvania, and Francis (Tammy) Taylor, Vestal; and the light of her life, her six grandchildren, Stephanie Davis, Brittany Taylor, Meghan Taylor, Nicole Blazicek, Brooke Taylor and Jackson Taylor; one sister, Ann (William) Allis; two brothers, Leo (Loretta) Guiton and Gerald (Jackie) Guiton; one sister-in-law, Blanche Guiton; many godchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a lifetime member of St. Brigid Parish in Friendsville, PA. She was a retired employee of Proctor & Gamble and started her job employment at IBM. Mary Helen was a very loving, caring and nurturing mother and grandmother. She loved the outdoors, Sudoku, attending Red Sox’s baseball games, traveling and looking for four leaf clovers. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and her Catholic faith. She will always be fondly remembered for her kindness, homemade applesauce and dinner rolls, her loyalty and her loving heart, by her family and the many friends that she touched during her lifetime.
The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Funeral Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Friday, February 14, 2014 from 3 to 6 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Brigid Parish, Friendsville, PA Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2 pm.
