Marylu Gasbarra

Marylu Gasbarra passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Jean Prislupsky; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mondo and Beatrice Gasbarra and a brother-in-law, Dennis Gasbarra. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Richard Gasbarra; one son, Matthew Gasbarra, Binghamton; three brothers and a sister-in-law, John M. Sullivan, Andrew Prislupsky, Binghamton, and Michael and Michelle Prislupsky, New Smyrna Beach, FL. She is also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Lynn Roberto, Endwell; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Diane and Rick Balbirnie, TN; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David Gasbarra and Gerry Tassey, Apalachin; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her cats, Lily, Izzy, Schouch, and Sheva. Marylu was employed by UHS at Johnson City Family Care. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 10 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Monday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Marylu’s memory may be made to the Humane Society, 2 Jackson Street, Binghamton, NY 13903.
