Michael “Birch” Birchard

Michael Anthony “Birch” Birchard, 55 of Knightdale, NC, formerly of Endicott, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2016. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Mary P. Ciacelli.A native of Endicott, NY, he is survived by his parents, Gene and Rose Birchard; his two brothers, Rick (Cathy) and Tony Birchard; his wife, Debbie Birchard of 31 years; and his two daughters, Christin and Alyssa. He was a 1978 graduate of Union Endicott High School. Michael was a loving and selfless son, brother, husband, and father. He learned from his mother the art and love of Italian cooking and enjoyed feeding his friends and family. Michael’s favorite place to be with his wife and daughters was eating lobster and clam cakes in Rhode Island. He was most proud of his two daughters, Christin and Alyssa and all they have become.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 11 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church Friday from 10 am until Mass time at 11 am.
