Nanette Bender

Nanette A. Bender, 75, passed away at her home Wednesday, December 25, 2013 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Lela Redner; two brothers, Richard and Willis Redner and two sisters, Norma Gerlach and Ruth McManus. Nanette is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Bender; two daughters and a son in law, Elizabeth and William Berg, Apalachin; Michelle Jones and James Hlopko, Johnson City; one son and daughter in law, Gary Bender and Karyn Lunde, Sayre, PA; four grandchildren, Christopher and Holly Berg and Trevor and Brianna Bender; a sister and brother in law, Nancy (Redner) and William Cairns, Orlando, FL; sister in law, Clara (Brown) Redner, South Carolina; brother in law and sister in law, William and Kit Bender, Indiana, formerly of Schenectady, NY; as well as several loving nieces and nephews and two loving spiritual friends, Dawn Clark and June Lunde.
Private Services will be held at Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital ICU.
