Pasqua “Emilia” Fettuccia

Pasqua “Emilia” Fettuccia a long time resident of Endicott, died on Sunday night November 12, 2017 in her home with her family by her side. Emilia was 90 years old. Emilia immigrated from Pofi, Italy in 1961 and settled in Endicott with her husband Pietro, and children Franco, Anna Maria, and Paolo. As a young teenager, Emilia was able to survive that battles that ensued the providence of Frosinone, Italy during W.W.II and immigrated to America to establish a loving home for her family. She will always be remembered for the epic Sunday dinners, “Ciammelle di Pofi”, and Italian hyms and songs she would sing to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Emilia was a proud member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Independent Aid Society and a retiree of Endicott Johnson Shoe Factory. Emilia is survived by her loving daughter Anna Maria Haight and son Paolo Fettuccia. Five grandchildren Jennifer and Gino Roma of Endicott, Jason and Michelle Haight of Syracuse, Emily and Ben Whiterspoon of Ashville, NC. Franco and Nicholas Fettuccia of Albany, NY. Eight great grandchildren Peter, Johnny, and Abby Roma, Amilia and Aliva Haight, Gabriel, Levi, and Benny Witherspoon. She was predeceased by her husband Pietro Fettuccia, son Franco Fettuccia, parents Vincenzo and Angelina Silvestri, her brother and sister-in-law Dario and Cecilia Silvestri, and nephews Nicola, Felix and Frank Silvestri and son-in-law David Haight.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 11:30 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church Friday from 10 am until Mass time at 11:30 am.
