Pasquale “Pat” Loiodice, 88 of Afton, NY sadly passed away Monday, September 7, 2015. Pat was born on May 6, 1927 in Corato, Italy, and eventually immigrated to Boston, MA in 1958. After spending the initial period of his endeavor in the U.S. in Boston, he decided to move over to Endicott to reunite with his beloved wife Angela’s family. Pat’s hard work as a specialized mechanic led him to become an undisputed reference in all the entire Southern Tier as a specialist of European top-notch vehicles, renowned for the quality of his service as well as the excellence of the human relationship in each of his transactions, throughout three decades, backed by unanimous praise. Pat is survived by his beloved nephew Sabino and his wife Grazia and son Flavio Ivano, and niece Nella and her husband Giorgio (all residing in Italy); his special friend Rosalind Voltz who loved him and took loving care of him till the last minute, alongside her family; in laws Isabella Martini, Anna and Giuseppe DePalo, Rosa and David Pipher, Giuseppe and Angela D’Introno, alongside nieces, nephews and cousins. His sense of attachment to his family and in-laws did not know restraints of any sort. His nephew Sabino had him as his foster-father since the premature passing of his biological father Domenico, and was educated upon the sound principles taught by him till maturity.
