The love of my life and Tony’s biggest fan passed away at Lourdes Hospital on Saturday, February 20, 2021 after a courageous 16 month battle with cancer. Pat was 69 years old. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Irene and Joseph Carosella and her special friend Rob George. Pat is survived by her husband of 45 years, Joe; son, Tony (Grace Cheevers); siblings Judy (Wayne) Reese, Joanie (Bud Oakes) Delafield, Joseph (Barb) Carosella, Donald (Nina) Carosella, Barbara (Paul) Travis; special Aunt, Sharon Dellapenta; special Ma 2, Betty McDonald; very special Brother-in-law and culinary mentor, Marvin (Helen) Berube; as well as several nieces and nephews, also special friends, Donna and Mel Burr, Jackie George, and Patti and Mark Rollo, and her beloved Grandpuppy Bernie. Pat was a phenomenal wife, the best mom ever and a GREAT cook. She possessed a wonderful personality and sense of humor, lit up every room she walked into and was always the life of the party. Pat was also very involved in VYFL while Tony played. She was very proud of the fact that we never missed one of Tony’s college baseball games, Maine to Florida, when he played for Keystone College and Binghamton University. We know she’s going to heaven because she’s already been through hell.In keeping with Pats’s wishes, no service will be held at this time. Expressions of sympathy in her name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
