Patricia Charma-Greeno

d. September 24, 2013

Patricia Charma-Greeno passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family to send her on her way. In heaven, she joins her parents, Michael and Elizabeth Charma. She is survived by her husband, John Greeno, Sr.; her brother, Bill Charma, Sr.; her son, Marcus Flint; grandchildren, Alexzander and Isabella Figueroa and their mother Corrine, Odessa Greene and her mother Autumn; her stepchildren, John Greeno, Jr, Wendy Greeno and her children Dylan, Lily and Olivia, and Jordan and Morgan Greeno; nephew, Bill Charma, Jr. and his wife Kristen and their children Olivia, Austin, Ethan, and Isabella; and nieces, Christina Charma and her son Aaron Chilson, Kimberly Charma and her children Justine, Julianna, Joshua, and Jeremy Griffin; aunts, Anna Townsend and Mary Giacovelli; and many other extended family members. Her cats, Bella and Hope, miss her too. Pat was born in Johnson City, NY in 1954. She graduated from the Rochester School for the Deaf in 1973 and worked for several years for Endicott Johnson Shoes. Pat is remembered fondly for her work at the Southern Tier Independence Center as a Deaf Advocate and relay interpreter for the Deaf. She was always ready to help a friend in need and was a dedicated supporter of the Deaf community wherever she lived. She had a great passion for any kind of animal, and her many pets were the luckiest in the world. Pat spent most of her life caring for family and friends, including those she helped comfort in their passing from life. She was a member of the Southern Tier Deaf Club and STIC, and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her. We will always remember Pat’s sense of humor, her laugh, the way she made everyone smile, and all her goofy expressions!
