Patricia “Pat” Kline

Patricia Pearis Kline of Endicott, New York (formerly of Binghamton, New York) died on February 25, 2022. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Kline, and her children Wendy (Fred) Budlong, Nancy Kline, and Robert (Dee) Kline, her grandchildren Erik (Prassuna) Budlong, Carl Budlong, Marena Kline, and Ariana Kline, her sister-in-law Justine Pearis, and her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Melvin (Ellen Bett) Kline and Marvin Kline. She also is survived by her nieces and nephews, Deborah Kline, Rabbi Todd (Ruchama) Kline, Mitchell (Joan) Kline, Susan (Dr. Russell) Heigh, Jill (Rabbi Hillel) Lichtenstein, Tamara Kline, Gary (Maureen) Kline, David (Laurie) Kline, John Pearis, Meghan Pearis, and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel Pearis and Celia Pearis, her brother Stuart Pearis, her father-in-law James Kline, her mother-in-law Margaret Kline, her brother-in-law Norman Kline, and her sister-in-law Loretta Kline.
Pat always had an interest in education. She was an excellent student and graduated from Wellesley College. She taught elementary school in Norfolk, Virginia when she was first married. She later became President of the PTA at MacArthur School in Binghamton before serving as President of the Board of Education of the Binghamton City School District.
In keeping with Pat’s wishes, there will be no services.
