Patsy Ann Potter, 71, passed away on January 8, 2020 at the West Hills Health & Rehabilitation Center in Knoxville, Tennessee after a yearlong battle with cancer. She moved to be closer to family and she came to know the Lord during her short time in Tennessee and will now take her place in heaven alongside her parents, Clifford and Jean Potter; and her sister, Rose J. McFadden. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Nina & David Margetson, Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Allen Potter, Raleigh, N.C.; two nieces, Shauna McPherson and Cortney Richburg; and several grand nieces and nephews. Patsy was a long time employee of Feduke Ford, Vestal, N.Y. before she retired. She was an avid fan of the giraffes at The Animal Adventure Park in Harpersville, N.Y. She spent many hours daily on the internet watching the giraffes, with April being her favorite. She had the opportunity to visit April in person last summer after finishing her chemo treatment and it was the high spot of her year.
Berry’s Funeral Home in Knoxville, TN along with the Allen Memorial Home in Endicott N.Y. will be handling her arrangements where she will be flown back to NY, for burial alongside her parents in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Vestal, NY. In lieu of flowers, an expression of sympathy in her memory can be made to The Animal Adventure Park, 1250 Front Street, #219, Binghamton, NY 13901.
