Paul J. McGowan, 68, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Born in Johnson City, he was the son of the late Harold and Madelyn McGowan. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Susan McGowan; two sons, Susan’s children Meagan Parslow and Mindy Martel and their families, his sisters and their families, Madge and Michael Yurko, Joyce and Edward Anguish, Lois and Charles Morgan, Ann and Ray Barnard, and Jeanne and Bill Speen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He graduated college with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He began working at Endicott Johnson with his father and later became ‘Paulie the Plumber” at Petcosky and Sons Plumbing. Paul was a devoted husband and friend.
A Funeral Mass for Paul will be held Monday, April 15th at 11 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 300 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends Monday at church from 10 am until Mass time at 11 am.
