Paul John Noyd Sr, of Windsor/Endicott NY, passed away on Tuesday August 23rd while bringing the fun to the world that he strived for every day. Predeceased by his Parents Charlotte and Martin Noyd, Sister Katherine Noyd, Nephew Tim Noyd, Father-in-Law John Bagg Sr, Niece Ashley Bagg-Campbell and many other loving family and friends, he had a warm welcoming ceremony in Heaven that was filled with the songs of love. He leaves behind his Hunners, Loa Bagg-Noyd, married in August of 1982, and together they built a life on the foundation of fun, love, faith and commitment. Out of this foundation came his besser buddies Paul John Noyd Jr (Heather), Sarah Elizabeth Noyd and Jeremiah Douglas Martin Noyd (Skylar aka Skylahh), and his newest Princesses, Grand-Daughters Parker Laelynn, Quinn Caroline and Payton James. Family first was his motto and those who were blessed to be loved by him truly felt that, ensuring they had a note waiting in the mailbox almost every day and that their bellies and drink cups were always full. Paul’s newest sidekick was his dog Zephyr, who will continue to guard the yard that he so perfectly created and cared for. Brothers Bill Noyd (Wendy) and Jim Noyd (Iris) were the lucky ones to have known him the longest, raised in Endicott NY. They molded the strong legend that grew into the man we knew who loved whole heartedly. Being an Uncle and God-Father to Travis Noyd (Jessica) and Great-Uncle to Lily were some of Paul’s favorite roles. This love extended to the Nieces and Nephews he gained through marriage to Loa; Scott (Emily), Brently (Sarah), Hannah (Joseph), Jonathan (Sierra), Elis, Olivia, Sophia and Rylan. Loa’s Mother, Lael Bagg, Sister Sharon Bagg-Battisti (Angelo), Brothers David Bagg and John Bagg Jr (Rose) were the extended family that supported him and his family for 40 years. Many other special loves include Cousins Mark and John Noyd, Carolyn Asher, Margaret Lints (Rob), Joshy (Alicia), Kreg; Friends- Dave and Micky Gorman, Keith Royer, Terry and Norm Bailey, the many extended family members, golf partners, church family, racing buddies, bowling strikers, work teammates, Deer Lake pals and strangers who became friends because of the ease of which he extended his love. His most recognized attribute was being friendly and fun, whether he was sitting next to a stranger getting his shoe-shined in NYC, leading a team of sales professionals to greatness or a familiar face as he got ready for a day of golf 3 hours before a tee time. The newest Golden Oak Member-Guest Putting Contest Champion of 2022, Paul was a passionate golfer who shared his knowledge with anyone he could. This was his favorite trait, seeing a way to be helpful and not being timid to share, he was always teaching. He worked for many years in the Telecommunications Sales profession and because of the impact he had as a leader and a Dad, almost all communication and sales companies nationwide have Noyd Strategy intertwined. His voice was his legacy and he was not ever afraid to be transparent with his heart. He would leave us with this: “Love with your WHOLE heart, and don’t be afraid to show your true emotions. Have fun EVERY day. Find the joy in what you do and be passionate about living life to its’ fullest. Mele Kalikimaka!”
Funeral Services for Paul will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Windsor, 56 Chapel Street, Windsor, NY. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at Church from 3-7 PM. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to “A Room to Heal: Dave Fancher Memorial Tournament” https://aroomtoheal.net, a foundation close to all of our hearts that would allow Paul to continue his creativity and how it impacts young lives in a positive way. Loa leaves you with this, hug your families often, squeeze your Hunners, and Make it a Great Day!
