Raymond C. Lindsey of Endwell died peacefully on May 24, 2018. He was 90 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mildred, a son John Lindsey, a daughter Carolyn (Lindsey) Ross, and three grandchildren Lindsey Ross, Jeremiah Ross, and Carlie Jo Lindsey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Indiana. He is predeceased by his parents Charles & Lois (Strickland) Lindsey, a son Michael Charles Lindsey, and nine siblings Edwin Lindsey, John Lindsey, George Lindsey, William Lindsey, Robert Lindsey, Ruth (Lindsey) Blodgett, Harriet (Lindsey) Drury, Catherine (Lindsey) Zuverino, and Marion (Lindsey) Longeuil. He was born in Brattleboro, VT where he lived until joining the US Navy in 1948. He served four years in the US Navy during the Korean War. After graduating from Tri-State University (now Trine University), he joined IBM Corp. where he worked for over 35 years in a variety of Technical, Management, and Executive positions until his retirement in 1990. Ray was an avid skier, golfer, and ballroom dancer. One of his most satisfying accomplishments in these pursuits was beating his age in golf. At age 80, he shot a 77 at Enjoie Golf Course and a 79 at Genneganslet Golf Course. But what he enjoyed most about these hobbies was the time spent with the many friends who enjoyed the same activities. His generous spirit has inspired many and his family loves him deeply. Please join us to celebrate his blessed life.
