Raymond Williams

Raymond D. Williams died at Ideal Senior Living in Endicott, NY, on January 23, 2021, due to complications of dementia and Covid. He was 86 years old. Grateful thanks to the staff at Ideal Senior Living for the excellent care they provided during his stay.
Ray was born on September 30, 1934, in Binghamton, NY. Ray became a 32 degree Mason in 1972. He graduated from Broome Community College of Binghamton with an AAS in Business in 1974. Ray lived in the Binghamton area and worked at Singer Link for most of his career, beginning in the warehouse, and eventually entering management as Senior Contracts Manager for government contracts. Ray’s passion outside of work was beekeeping, and he was a member of the Southern Tier Beekeeper’s Association for many years. He also enjoyed organic farming.
Ray is survived by his two sisters, Elaine (Gordon) Outman, and Carolyn Wheeler, and his brother, Philip (Jan) Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elizabeth Williams, his son, Raymond Jeffrey (Jeff), and his brother-in-law, Ed Wheeler.
