Richard Hester

Richard Hester of Brackney, PA passed away on December 15 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Ruth, his brother William Hester and granddaughter Michelle Welte. He will be greatly missed by his children: Cathleen (Robert) Welte, Michael (Tina) Hester and Diane (Michael) Hudock; fifteen grandchildren and their spouses; two great-grandsons.
Richard is also survived by his brother Edward Hester, sister Marjorie Kitsock and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a US Navy veteran and a retired engineer from IBM Corp. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
A traditional Latin Requiem Mass will be offered on Wednesday, December 27 at 10:00 a.m. at St Athanasius Catholic Church, 406 Shady Drive in Endwell. Burial to follow in St. Augustine’s Cemetery in Brackney, PA. The family will receive guests on Tuesday, December 26 from 4-6 pm at Allen Funeral Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott NY.
