Richard “Pappy” Keith

Richard Lee Keith “PAPPY” of Milton, Delaware, passed away on July 9, 2021 at the age of 74. He was surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Carol of 52 years; his sons and their wives Kevin and Jen, Mike and Shari, Matt and Lisa; his seven grandchildren Joshua, Kayla, Aidan, Alexa, James, Paige, and Laney; his brother Bill; and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. He was a Navy Veteran who served in the Vietnam War and retired from IBM/Lockheed Martin in Owego, NY.
Despite his many medical issues, he was always involved with his family and friends. Up until the end, he brought smiles to everyone he knew with his involvement, generosity and sense of humor. Remember this one – “I went to the doctor and said I’m having dreams about wigwams and teepees…the doctor said you’re two tents.”
A visitation will be held at Allen Memorial Home, located at 511-513 East Main Street Endicott, NY 13760, on Sunday August 8th from 4 to 6 pm. The funeral will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, at 701 W. Main Street, Endicott, NY 13760 on Monday August 9th at 10 am, with a burial service to follow at Riverhurst Cemetery 2500 East Main St. Endicott, NY 13761. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, 200 Vesey St., 28th Fl., New York, NY 10281, www.jdrf.org.
