Richard “Don” Mcmichael

Richard (Don) McMichael, 79, of Apalachin passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, December 26, 2016. He survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Donna; daughter, Penny (Karl) Price of Brewerton, NY; granddaughter, Kaitlin Price who is a HS English Teacher in Charlotte, NC and Zachary Price who attends Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY; favorite grand-dog, Khloe. Richard was an Over-the-Road Truck Driver for 52 accident-free years, where he was an owner/operator. After retirement he put in several years driving for Norfolk Southern Railroad. He enjoyed traveling especially to Westport, Ontario, Clayton, NY and never forgot the trip with Kenny and Betty Rathbun to the Outer Banks, NC. He enjoyed John Wayne movies and NASCAR. The family would like to express a special thank you to friends and neighbors for being there for Don over the past year.

Funeral Services held Thursday at 1 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Pastor Dan Eddings officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Park Cemetery, Vestal. The family will receive friendsat the Allen Memorial Home Thursday from 11 am until service time at 1 pm.
