Richard “Dick” Tuthill

Richard V. (Dick) Tuthill, 74, of Endwell, passed away peacefully at Lourdes Hospital and was reunited with the love of his life, Bernadine, with his family beside him on Wednesday March 14, 2018. He is predeceased by his parents, Irene and Francis Tuthill, and his wife, Bernadine (Battaglini) Tuthill. He is survived by his daughters, Amy Kreitz (Wesley) of Parker, Colorado, Beth Bunts (Daniel), Megan Brown (Eric) of Endicott; grandchildren, Wesley, Wilson, Evan, Tyshaun, and Iyana, Jake and Lyda; sister-in-law, Eileen Buckingham (Rick) of Vestal; brother-in-law, Mike Battaglini (Julie) of Rochester, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews. Dick retired from NYSEG, and was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Endicott. He loved his collection of cars, playing golf, bowling, and his family vacation time in Ocean City, Maryland. The family would like to say a special thank you to his caretaker friends, the staff at Brookdale, the staff at Lourdes Hospital and Lourdes Hospice for their wonderful care of Dick.
Funeral Services be held Wednesday at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 North McKinley Avenue, Endicott NY 13760.
