Richard (Dick) Ulmer, 92, of Endwell, passed away on July 30, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of over 55 years, Donna; daughters, Holly (Lou) Milano, Gretchen (Jim) Simpson; grandchildren, Jillian Strauss, Maggie Milano, Candice English; great-granddaughter, Taylor. Dick graduated from Binghamton Central HS in 1944, and joined the US Navy, serving in the Pacific theater until the end of WWII. Upon returning home, he received an Economics degree from Syracuse University. Dick was the owner of Ulmer Quality Homes, developing 4 subdivisions and building over 300 homes in the Endwell area. He was a longtime member of the Southern Tier Home Builders (past president), the Oquaga Lake Association (past president), Optimist Club (treasurer), Binghamton University Founders Club and Alumni, and the Binghamton Country Club. He loved spending time at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and Oquaga Lake.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 10 am at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 711 Farm to Market Road, Endwell. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. The family will receive friends at church Friday from 9 am until Service time at 10 am.
