Richard “Dick” Wade

Richard (Dick) A. Wade of Chenango Bridge, passed away on November 30 2017at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his mother and father, two sisters, a brother, a daughter and a great grandson. He is survived by his wife Elise (Lainhardt) of 60 years; sons Keith (Nancy) Wade, Bob (Becky) Wade, Sister Joyce Lawton; nine grandkids and thirteen great grandkids. He was a retired dairy farmer and school bus driver for the ME School District. He was a past fire chief, treasurer and commissioner for The Maine Fire Department for many years. He was associated with Dairylea Milk Corp. during his many years as a dairy farmer. His greatest enjoyment was his wife and family. He enjoyed the many family gatherings that were had throughout the years and hope the traditions will continue long after he was gone.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 11 am at Maine Federated Church, 2615 State Route 26 North, Maine, NY. The family will received friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Monday from 1-3 and evening 6:30-8:30 pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
