Rita Tricarico

Rita Cicciarelli-Tricarico has completed her journey here on earth and is now at peace with our Lord. Rita was predeceased by her husband Sam Tricarico of 61 years, her mother Nicolette Cicciarelli and her father Phillip Cicciarelli, her brother John Cicciarelli and her sisters Mary Matthews, Louise Battaglini and Yolonda Massi. She leaves behind her three beloved children Sharon Green and her husband Allan Green who cared for her so beautifully and lovingly for 7 ½ years, Cindi Noyes and her husband Tom who loved having her visit in Charlotte, and her son Paul Tricarico and his wife Anne, her grandchildren Joe Barnhardt, Melissa Barnhardt, Michael Cerra, Brittany Tricarico, Gus Green, Todd Noyes, and Andrea Noyes, two very special great grandchildren Smith Noyes and Elliott Mae Noyes, and one very special sister whom she was always very close with, Rosalie Gennarelli. In addition, she also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Rita also wanted to acknowledge several special friends who have been a positive part of her life and brought much joy.
Prior to her 18 years as an employee of IBM where she worked in the cafeteria in Endicott, Rita attended hairdressing school and always wished to pursue her hairdressing career at some point later in life. However, three young children and a husband who traveled frequently for work, her position at IBM became her new career which she enjoyed very much. Both Rita and her husband were active members of The Church of the Holy Family. Rita’s Family would like to especially acknowledge and thank all the employees and volunteers at the Mercy House of the Southern Tier for the patience, kindness, wonderful care, and love given to our mother and all her family, and to Lourdes Hospice for all the support provided to the family.
A Mass will be held at the Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis St, Endwell, NY 13760 on July 11, 2023 at 11:00 am. Viewing will begin at 10:00. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Rita Tricarico’s memory may be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 North McKinley Avenue, Endicott New York 13760 or Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Vestal Road, Vestal, New York 13850.
