Robert “Bob” Coontz

Robert E. “Bob” Coontz of Endicott NY, age 87, on December 26, 2016. Bob is survived by his children and their spouses: Barbara and Charlie Giacalone, Robert J. and Karita Coontz, Irene and John O’Marra; as well as his step-children and their spouses: Paul and Laura Doane, Stuart and Kathy Doane, and Amy and Justin Surratt. Also surviving are several grandchildren.Bob was predeceased by Audrey, his wife of 26 years (1956-1982}, and Susan, his wife of 29 years (1983-2013), his brother Jack, and also by his eldest son John. Bob was born in Brooklyn NY, grew up in New Jersey, served in the US Army during theKorean War. He was a graduate of Pace University in Manhattan. He held several managerial positions in various companies prior to his retirement.
