Ronald A. Petticoffer

Ronald A. Petticoffer, 76, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents, Abraham and Ida Petticoffer and a nephew, Shawn Lampmann. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jane Petticoffer; three sons and daughters in law Ronald Petticoffer, Jr., Sanford, NC; Brian and Jana Petticoffer, Pikeville, NC and Jon and Tammy Petticoffer, Endicott; seven grandchildren, James; Jonathan; Kyle; Kevin; David; Corbin and Courtney Petticoffer; four great grandchildren, Jonathan; Brian; Jordan and Joshua Petticoffer; one sister, Lynette Lampmann, Richardtown, PA; one brother and sister in law, Craig and Susan Petticoffer, Perkasie, PA; also several nieces; nephews and cousins. Mr. Petticoffer was retired from IBM, Owego, after 25 years of service. He taught classes at Broome Community College, Binghamton University and BOCES. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
