Ronald “Ron” Trelease

Ronald E. Trelease 85, of Endwell N.Y. passed away peacefully on Friday August 9, 2019 in the presence of his wife Joan, and his children Karen and Scott. Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Joan, his daughter, Karen Vadney, son in law Jeff, (Delmar,N.Y.) his son, Scott Trelease, (Vestal), and his four grandchildren Kelly Vadney, (Johnathan Brown), Lauren Petrone, (Kyle), Benjamin, & Ashley Trelease. Ron was blessed to enjoy a close relationship and many years of family gatherings that included his dear sister in law, Barbara Kovarick, her husband Gene, his nephews Jim and Paul, and their respective families.
Ron will be remembered and dearly missed for the endless love he showed his family, his unique and quick sense of humor, his special ability to engage people into conversation, his willingness to offer himself to others in need of assistance, and his love of people. Ron was most fortunate to have experienced many sincere friendships over his life time, both within the triple cities area, and those which he developed in the Myrtle Beach S.C.area.
Following his retirement as former owner and president of Trelease Furniture / The Chair Store he enjoyed many years of vacationing for extended periods in Murrells Inlet, S.C. During his time with us Ron served as a commissioner and volunteer fireman in the Endwell Fire Department, served as a vice- president for the Union Volunteer Ambulance Services, served on the Town of Union Zoning Board of Appeals, and also the Tax Review Board. Ron, additionally was a member of the Elks in Murrells Inlet S.C.
The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bruce Bowling and staff, at Endwell Family Physicians for 40 years of compassionate service. The Union Volunteer Ambulance Squad. The UHS medical staff, the nursing staff of ST4, and the staff at Elizabeth Church Manor Nursing Home, for all of their care and compassion during his short stays and final days on earth.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday 5 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 3 pm until service time at 5 pm.
